Ukulele Lessons in Hilo
The ukulele belongs to Hawaii, and learning it here in Hilo means learning it where it lives. Four strings, a friendly neck, and songs you can play within your first few lessons: there is a reason the uke is how so many island families start making music together.
Our teachers work with keiki learning their first chords, adults finally picking up the instrument they always meant to learn, and players ready for fingerpicking and hammer-ons. Lessons happen at the shop, where we keep Kanile'a, Gretsch, Islander and Oscar Schmidt ukuleles on the wall if you are still looking for yours.
And every first Saturday of the month, our free family and friends ukulele jam is the perfect place to play what you have learned with other people. That is the whole point, after all.
